JOIN OUR COMMUNITY

Namaste by Jay is a wellness collective for Black women focused on holistic healing through yoga, meditation, storytelling, and community building.

Meet Jay.

Black women are the most disrespected and unappreciated beings in America. Furthermore, Black women suffer from generational trauma as well as trauma from their own personal experiences. Having experienced this first hand, Jillian understands that when Black women do not take care of their mental health, they become their biggest roadblock to success.

After completing trauma therapy in September 2019, Jillian felt empowered to create Namaste by Jay. Having felt the love and encouragement from so many women from her sorority, her alma mater, job and other walks of life during the most difficult moments of her healing journey, Jillian felt as if all Black women could benefit from this supportive community.

Services

  • Tailored-to-you virtual classes, private flows, and in-person session. All seven of Namaste by Jay instructors have received at least 200 hours of certified training. We’ve taught crowds ranging from 10 to 500+ participants.

  • Beyond our formal training in yoga and mindfulness, we have a vast network of experts in the wellness space including cerified meditation instructors and licensed therapists who can offer custom social content, serve as guest panelists, and journalist contributors.

  • We’ve mastered event planning and cater our wellness experiences to the unique audiences that we serve. We offer holistic one-day or weekend long retreats that consist of yoga, mediation, mindfulness exercises, markets supporting local black-owned vendors, and more.
