Jessica Smiley

Jessica began her journey with yoga as a way to help her manage and relieve her stress.

But she found more than that; yoga offered her an opportunity to heal. After years of disconnection, yoga provided the tools to nurture her reconnection to self. Through intention, presence, and self-understanding, yoga unlocked a sense of freedom.

Jessica attended her 250-HR yoga training because she wanted to gain the tools that would allow her to help Black women heal themselves through the practice of yoga. Her passion for healing is illustrated in her trauma-sensitive style of teaching that highlights the benefits of playful energy, accessibility, and individual embodiment.
